RAK Executive Authority Organizes the 18th Forum for Best Practices

Government of Ras Al Khaimah held today, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Executive Council, and in the presence of Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RAK Ceramics, the 18th Forum for Best Practices under the theme 'Managing Strategic Transformations.'
The forum, organized at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ras Al Khaimah, aims to transfer knowledge and raise awareness about the importance of strategic transformations and their role in enabling institutions to anticipate and shape the future, adapt to its changes, and enhance resilience to achieve sustainable success, bringing happiness to the community and contributing to comprehensive development.
Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi emphasized that wise governance based on foresight and strategic planning ensures the ability to face challenges and achieve accomplishments with a spirit of innovation and sustainability. He explained that this approach reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, which aims at enhancing the emirate's position on all fronts.
His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai, delivered a keynote speech at the forum on 'Strategic Leadership.' During his address, he highlighted the phase of change he led, which was primarily centered on serving and respecting humanity. He expressed the importance of dedication and loyalty to the nation and wise leadership while emphasizing pride in our national achievements.
His Excellency Atref Mohammed Shehab, CEO of the Government Development and the Future Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, spoke about 'The UAE Mission for the Future' in his address. He introduced the 'UAE Mission' model, a platform designed to develop future readiness projects. He highlighted several projects created under this model, such as the 'Jahez' program to enhance the future readiness of federal government talents, the 'Hama' program to prepare female recruits for the future, the Virtual Lawyer, and others.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Extensive City Police Station and Chairman of the Operational Team for Developing the Systems and Programs Framework for the Safe City System at the General Headquarters of Ras Al Khaimah Police, presented a paper titled 'The Safe City.' He highlighted the stages of the Safe City project, its foundational principles, the efforts exerted, and the innovative solutions implemented to ensure the sustainability of security and safety in the emirate.
Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Yahya, Director of the Real Estate Transactions Department at the Dubai Land Department, also presented a paper discussing 'Dubai REST' (Real Estate Self-Transaction), a smart real estate platform for real estate services. This platform provides extensive services to all stakeholders in the real estate sector and enables seamless property management.
Mr. Hussein Rabea Al-Aleeli, Director of the Customer Voice Department at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation reviewed the 'Tawasul Platform' initiative, which aims to enhance the communication system and increase its innovative channels with the public.
The forum, which serves as a platform bringing together experts and specialists in the fields of strategy and leadership, was attended by heads and directors of federal and local entities, a select group of experts and researchers in the field of management, as well as a number of employees from federal, local, and private entities in Ras Al Khaimah.
The organization of this forum comes as part of the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Government to enhance the government work environment, stimulate institutional innovation, and support national competencies in facing future challenges with innovative strategic visions.
