Announcement of the New Formation of Ras Al Khaimah Youth Council for its Sixth Term

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Youth, announced the new formation of the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Council for the sixth term 2023-2025, which includes seven members with diverse backgrounds contributing to enriching the council with the diversity and academic and professional experiences needed to enhance the contributions of youth in the Emirate.
His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khaled Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture and Youth, said: "The UAE enjoys a pioneering position in empowering youth and investing in their potential. Our country is moving forward with a strategic and competitive approach to achieve global leadership in various sectors. Today, through youth councils in the various Emirates of the country, we aim to continue supporting them and preparing new generations capable of creativity, innovation, and effective contribution to the nation's construction and development process to achieve the aspirations of the country in various sectors."
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Executive Council in Ras Al Khaimah, stated: "Since the inception of the youth empowerment journey in the UAE, we have seen the unlimited support provided by our wise government to translate youth work strategies into a reality that highlights the capabilities of youth, elevates their voices in national forums, enhances their potential and talents to be a source of enrichment in shaping the present and future of our beloved nation."
He emphasized that the state's investment in its youth and its reliance on their developmental role reflects the sharp strategic vision of our wise leadership. As we look to the future and face the challenges of shaping scenarios of global leadership, cultural competitiveness, and building a high-quality life for Emirati individuals in our journey towards the centenary.
The new formation of the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Council includes Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, born in 1991, holding a Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences from Ajman University, with over 30 training courses in various fields at ADNOC Distribution. Al Balushi currently serves as a service station manager at ADNOC Distribution and has nearly ten years of practical experience. He is a member of the company's youth council.
The new formation also includes Yazeia Salem Al Ali, born in 1993, holding a degree in International Political Science with a minor in Leadership and Society from the United Arab Emirates University, as well as a diploma in Diplomatic and International Relations. Al Ali is currently serving as a General Secretariat Specialist at the Public Prosecution Office in Ras Al Khaimah and has volunteered in various events, including the World Government Summit 2018 and Expo 2020 Dubai.
Rahma Ali Mohammed Al Kamali, born in 1992, has also joined the new formation of the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Council. She is a graduate of the Government Competencies Program with distinction and currently works as a Project Consultant at the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Al Kamali is a certified trainer from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai and the Federal Youth Foundation, Ministry of Economy in Entrepreneurship. She is also a volunteer for the Sanid Emergency Response Team.
Among the new members is Maryam Amir Ahmed Al Shohi, born in 1993, holding a Master's degree with distinction in Engineering Project Management and a diploma in Policy Writing and Government Legislation from the General Secretariat of the Cabinet - First Batch. Maryam currently serves as the Director of Excellence and Development Department at the Dubai Government Media Office. She previously worked as an Industrial Engineer at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology on several projects and initiatives to promote growth in the industrial sector and support local industries through research and analysis, including the UAE's Future Industries Policy, the 300 Billion Project, the Value Added Tax Program, the 50-Year Plan for the Industrial Sector, the Small and Medium Industrial Enterprises Development Strategy, the "Emirates Makes" Platform, Federal Decree-Law No. (25) of 2022 on the Organization and Development of Industry and its Executive Regulations, the Economic Recovery Plan, the Reduction of Fees by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Customs Duty Exemption Policy, among others.
The new council also includes Ismail Hamid Al Mansoori, born in 1989, holding a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Media. He currently serves as a Media Communication Specialist and manages social media channels at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. Also joining the new formation is Aisha Ali Al Khunboli Al Shohi, born in 1990, holding a Diploma in Customer Happiness - Fifth Batch from the Ministry of Interior in 2020. She has participated in various specialized training courses and workshops related to institutional innovation, customer service, personal charisma, creativity and excellence, handling work pressures, and human planning and development.
She serves as the Administrative Officer for Customer Happiness at the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department and has received the Falcon Government Excellence Award (Exceptional Performance) and numerous certificates of appreciation, including Outstanding Employee at the Ras Al Khaimah Municipality in 2019, Employee of Exceptional Performance at the Municipality Level in 2017, and Contribution to Innovative Suggestions, and a Certificate for Contributing to Opening the Highest Number of Transactions in the First Half of 2019. Among the new members is Mona Hassan Al Shohi, born in 1993, and currently serving as a professional evaluator at the Ministry of Education.
