Objectives

  • Supporting the Executive Council in carrying out its responsibilities as stipulated by law.
  • Ensuring the achievement of the Emirate's strategic objectives.
  • Enhancing policymaking and supporting decision-making in various government sectors.
  • Ensuring the relevance and feasibility of programs and initiatives aimed at developing the business sectors.
  • Coordinating the work of relevant government entities to achieve synergy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the implementation of relevant policies, strategic initiatives, and projects, reviewing performance indicators, and proposing methods to deal with the challenges and obstacles.

  • Proposing policies, initiatives, and legislative amendments to develop relevant sectors and submitting them to the Executive Council for consideration and approval.

  • Studying policy memos and initiatives submitted by relevant government agencies and submitting recommendations to the Executive Council.

  • Cooperating and coordinating with the relevant authorities within the UAE to implement joint plans and policies.

  • Reviewing federal law drafts related to the Council's work and providing feedback in line with the Emirate's vision and plans.
